Sports and Remedial Massage Crows Nest

Massage therapy is the manual manipulation of the body’s soft tissues including muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments, to enhance a person’s wellbeing and health.

At North Shore Physio Clinic we utilise massage in conjunction with Physiotherapy and Pilates, and Exercise Programs to improve our patient’s outcomes and quality of life.

There are many types of massage each having a specific purpose. We utilise:

  • Therapeutic/relaxation massage: promotes wellbeing and can improve sleep patterns. Aids in the treatment of anxiety, reduces tension, and improves circulation.

  • Remedial Massage to assist in rehabilitation, pain, and injury management.

  • Sports Massage to aid in the treatment and prevention of injuries and improve recovery times following sport and training.

  • Lymphatic drainage to support and enhance patients whose lymphatic system has been compromised by a variety of chronic or acute illnesses.
