PILATES IN THE NORTH SHORE OF SYDNEY

Pilates

We strive to provide the best Pilates classes within the North Shore of Sydney. We service the Crows Nest community and surrounding suburbs of Cammeray, Wollstonecraft, St Leonards, Chatswood and North Sydney.

Pilates is a system of exercises using special apparatus, designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, posture, and enhance mental awareness. Joseph Pilates developed this system in the early 20th century which has been used and refined by people across the globe ever since. Here at North Shore Physiotherapy Clinic, we provide personalised dynamic Pilates classes tailored to each individuals needs.

Consistent Pilates training builds strength, flexibility and lean muscle tone with a focus on lengthening the body and aligning the spine, rather than on bulking and shortening muscles.

Pilates uses principles of training including correct alignment, centering, concentration, control, precision, breathing, and flowing movement to develop balanced, strong, flexible bodies. If you are injured, clinical Pilates classes may be best for you.

You will find with instruction, fewer and more precise movements and controlled technique while exercising your body will have benefits such as strong lean muscles, improved energy, reduced injury and a clear mind.

We would love you to come join our dynamic Pilates classes in Crows Nest studio here at North Shore Physiotherapy Clinic. Assembled with a comprehensive range of equipment for both studio and Clinical Pilates classes. We offer reformer, wunda chair, Cadillac, high barrel, spine corrector, mats and assistive devices such as trigger point, fit balls and rollers.
